The Ministry of Agriculture has been promoting the Smart Agriculture Program for ten years. To understand the current development of Taiwan's smart agriculture industry and the supply and demand of talent, the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research has been commissioned to conduct the 2027–2029 "Smart Agriculture Talent Supply and Demand Survey." By collecting information on students' areas of expertise, employment intentions, and other relevant information, the survey will serve as an important reference for future talent planning and training by the competent authorities.
The survey is intended for students at domestic colleges and universities with agriculture-related departments, including fourth-year undergraduate students and above, as well as second-year master's students and above, who are studying in fields related to agriculture, industry, manufacturing, information and communications technology (ICT), smart agriculture, agricultural machinery, and related areas. The questionnaire is conducted online and takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. The first 600 students whose completed questionnaires are reviewed and verified as valid by the research team will receive a NT$50 convenience store gift voucher. The survey will remain open until September 23, 2026 (Wednesday). (Survey URL: https://tier.surveycake.biz/s/0DG84).
