Educational Objectives

Graduate Program Educational Objectives:
1. To cultivate professional mechanical engineering personnel with professional engineering knowledge and the ability to analyze and solve problems.
2. To cultivate professional mechanical design personnel with independent thinking, technological system integration, research, and innovative R&D capabilities required for product design.
3. To cultivate mechanical design professionals with a broad global perspective who can grasp the trends in technological and industrial development, possess a sense of professional responsibility, engage in lifelong learning, and develop expertise in mechanical design.

Four-Year University Program Educational Objectives:
1. In response to the needs of technological and industrial development, provide students with fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge and cultivate professional mechanical design personnel with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
2. Cultivate professionals with the innovative and system integration capabilities required for mechanical product design.
3. Strengthen close integration with industry, implement balanced development of "professional knowledge" and "practical skills," and cultivate technical and vocational professionals with lifelong learning abilities and a sense of professional responsibility.

Five-Year Junior College Program Educational Objectives:
1. In response to the needs of technological and industrial development, provide students with fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge and cultivate professional precision mechanical engineering personnel with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
2. Cultivate professionals with the innovative capabilities required for precision mechanical product design and manufacturing.
3. Integrate international industrial development trends, strengthen foreign language and system integration capabilities, implement balanced development of "professional knowledge," "practical skills," and "workplace ethics and management," and cultivate technical and vocational professionals with lifelong learning abilities and a sense of professional responsibility.

Graduate Program Student Core Competencies:
1. The ability to conduct professional research in mechanical design theory and practical engineering.
2. The professional ability to plan and execute research projects related to mechanical design.
3. The ability to write research results as professional papers and technical presentations.
4. The ability to think independently and discover, analyze, and solve problems through integrated innovative thinking.
5. The ability to coordinate and integrate across disciplines, conduct technical analysis, and manage research projects.
6. The ability to demonstrate professional ethics, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility, and apply these principles to engineering technology and patent development.
7. The ability to maintain an international perspective, understand developments in mechanical design engineering, and continuously learn new knowledge for lifelong personal growth.

1. The ability to integrate and organize mechanical design theories and professional knowledge using expertise in mathematics, science, and engineering to analyze and communicate problems.
2. The ability to design and conduct experiments related to mechanical design and use computers and computational tools to analyze and interpret data.
3. The ability to implement mechanical and product design and integrate practical engineering technologies.
4. The ability to demonstrate a responsible work attitude and possess capabilities in project management, interdisciplinary integration, effective communication and coordination, and teamwork.
5. The ability to possess general knowledge and foreign language proficiency and integrate them into engineering and creative design.
6. The ability to discover, analyze, and apply research results through innovative thinking while considering sustainable development to solve complex and integrated engineering problems.
7. The ability to understand engineering professionalism and information ethics, recognize social responsibility, respect diverse perspectives, and apply professional competencies to solve problems.
8. The ability to understand current affairs and recognize the impact of engineering technology on environmental sustainability, social well-being, and global development, while developing the habit and ability to continuously learn new knowledge.

Five-Year Junior College Program Student Core Competencies:

2. The ability to conduct mechanical design and mechanical-related experiments and use computers and computational tools to analyze and interpret data.
3. The ability to execute standard operating procedures for machining and apply practical engineering technologies related to components and manufacturing processes.
4. The ability to demonstrate a responsible work attitude and possess capabilities in project management, effective communication and coordination, and teamwork.
5. The ability to possess general knowledge and foreign language proficiency and integrate them into engineering and creative design.
6. The ability to discover, analyze, and solve practical engineering technology problems through innovative thinking.
7. The ability to understand and apply engineering professionalism and information ethics, recognize social responsibility, respect diverse perspectives, and solve problems accordingly.
